I have had the pleasure of seeing Icelandic horses. I even have a friend who imports and raises them. I have had the thrill of seeing them at Equine Affaire here in New England on several occasions.....They might be small, but they are awesome! This is an Icelandic stallion, a beautiful perlino....his owner allowed me to paint her beautiful man!
This painting is done in gold,casein ,acrylic and ink. The photo- shot of it does not do it justice.
